THE STUDENTS
Charla KaulI am a Landscape Architecture major at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Ca. I am also minoring in Sustainable Environments and plan to graduate in June. I love my department and hope to pursue projects after graduation that allow me to help heal the scars of the earth, however cliche or corny that may sound. This is why researching and attempting to help the Sweet Springs Marsh was so appealing to me. When I am not saving the world, I love to play the harp, snowboard, paint, sing and overall live an active yet relaxing lifestyle.

Andrew WrightI am currently an Environmental Engineering graduate student at Cal Poly graduating in June and received a M.S. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 2011 as well. The project has helped me learn how important is it to consider ecological and cultural implications when implementing technological solutions.

Jeffrey YuanI am currently an Industrial Engineering graduate student at Cal Poly finishing up my last year (hopefully). Taking the Appropriate Technologies class and working on the Sweet Springs project was a wonderful experience and a nice change of pace from my engineering classes. I hope our project will be continued by a future group and someday see it implemented.
